Bio
The Argentine guitarist began playing the guitar at the age of eight and gave his first public performance eight years later. He graduated as Advanced Guitar Professor at the Official Conservatory of Bahía Blanca under maestro Héctor Farías, and studied later with Eduardo Fernández . He also attended several courses and masterclasses with Miguel
Ángel Girollet, Eduardo Isaacs, María Isabel Siewers,
Víctor Villadangos , Pablo Márquez and Timo Korhonen - among others - and studied Analysis with Enrique Cippolla and Argentine Folk
Music with Juan Falú, Walter Heinze and Ernesto Méndez.
He has performed live and for radio and TV as a soloist, soloist with orchestra and in duet and quartet formations in many cities of his home country, Uruguay, Brasil, Spain, England, Finland and Sweden.
His repertoire ranges from the Renaissance to contemporary music, including transcriptions and arrangements of Latin American pieces. In 2003 he recorded his first CD “ Eisenach / Bahía Blanca ”, including music by Bach, Scarlatti, Villa-Lobos, Brouwer, Barrios, Guastavino, Fleury and Maslíah, among others. Together with Thiago Colombo ( Brazil ), Daniel Morgade ( Uruguay ) and Jorge Pappadopoulos ( Argentina ), he published the CD “ Guitarras en Concierto ” in 2004.
He is currently a Teacher of Guitar and Harmonic Instrument at the Official Conservatory of his city, and leads the SEISCUERDAS.COM project, a Latin-American guitar web portal.
